Autodesk and Bentley will expand software compatibility for the AEC industry

Autodesk and Bentley Systems announced that they have reached an agreement to expand the compatibility of their software for the architectural and construction industry. Autodesk and Bentley intend to exchange libraries and modules from their software products (Autodesk RealDWG, etc.), which will improve the accuracy when reading and writing the corresponding DWG and DGN files in a mixed operating environment. In addition, both companies plan to improve the productivity of processes associated with the joint use of software products through the bidirectional use of application programming interfaces (APIs).
