X86 + x64 Altair Engineering, one of the leaders in the CAE market, has released a new, eleventh version of the Altair HyperWorks system. Altair HyperWorks provides its users with powerful tools for multidisciplinary CAE analysis. The new version adds a solver for solving problems of rigid body dynamics, a combined FEA/MBD analysis of systems of deformable and solid bodies, 3D visualization tools for HyperGraph 3D results, specialized graphical interfaces for various technological processes (stamping, forging, welding, extrusion and casting) and much more. Within the framework of the CAE-Driven Design Process concept, new optimization procedures have been developed, implemented in the OptiStruct program (stress-constrained topology, topography, structural, shape and size optimization).
