Ansoft Maxwell

Ansoft Maxwell is a leading electromagnetic field modeling software used for the design and exploration of 2D and 3D models such as motors, sensors, transformers and other electrical and electromechanical devices for a variety of applications. Ansoft Maxwell is based on the Finite Element Method (FEM) and accurately calculates static, harmonic electromagnetic and electric fields, as well as transients in field problems. The Ansoft Maxwell distribution includes the following programs: Optimetrics - a universal additional program that adds parametric, optimization, statistical, and sensitivity analysis to the project. RMxprt is a program that speeds up the design and optimization process of rotating electrical machines. RMxprt uses classical analytical theory.
