Aptech Systems GAUSS is a commercial software environment and programming language for numerical computing, statistics, econometrics and data analysis developed by Aptech Systems Inc. and used to solve complex mathematical and analytical problems. GAUSS was originally created for econometric problems (time series, forecasting, GARCH models, panel data, etc.) Although similar capabilities are available in R/Python, in GAUSS they are built into the core and optimized for data analysis tasks.
