206 Avid Media Composer v3.0 Avid has begun selling a new line of video editing products, Media Composer 3.0, a powerful professional nonlinear video processing system. Among the innovations in version 3.0 are: - real-time video output in all major HD and SD formats; - acceleration of visualization of effects by using the capabilities of multi-core processors, graphics adapters and PCI Express; - improved support for many formats, including AVC-I, DVCPRO HD, XDCAM HD; - SubCap tool for adding subtitles, with the ability to import and export to EBU-N19 formats; - new MetaFuze tool for quickly merging files containing one frame; - new Avid DVD program for creating Blu-ray discs.
