CCS is a module specifically designed for Carbon Capture & Storage applications. It includes models and functions specific to CO₂-rich systems: CO₂ solubility in brine, pH phase diagrams, CO₂ hydrates, influence of impurities, etc. Specialized equations of state (EoS) are used: in the CCS module - Span-Wagner, GERG-2008, special cubic, etc. Heat and mass transfer models, transport properties (viscosity, thermal conductivity) also adapted for CCS tasks.
