CST Studio Suite is a set of utilities created for the needs of radio engineers designing devices and conducting research in the field of efficient and accurate numerical modeling of three-dimensional electromagnetic structures (read: electromagnetic waves). Electromagnetic fields are calculated based on Maxwell's equations. This facilitates the design of waveguides, magnetrons, TWTs and antennas, as well as other devices where an electromagnetic wave interacts with a surface and propagates along it. Utilities allow you to find out the structure and cross-section of the field, determine the BEF and BER, the intensity of the conservative field and the field in the far zone, and the radiation pattern of the emitter.
