304 Invensys SimSci-Esscor HEXTRAN v9.2 HEXTRAN is a heat transfer simulation software solution designed to quickly evaluate complex design, operational and retrofit problems. HEXTRAN in the SIM4ME environment is the core of simulation of heat transfer processes among SimSci products. HEXTRAN is equipped with a Java-based graphical user interface with an HTML help system that supports the creation of a TEMA heat exchanger specification in HTML and Excel formats. Advanced results display capabilities include graphs and displays, allowing for in-depth analysis of the resulting heat transfer curves by zone. HEXTRAN provides increased efficiency for all types of design and operational analysis work, such as individual heat exchanger and network design, pinch analysis, zonal analysis, flow splitting, calculation.
