Plaxis programs are focused on performing finite element calculations of the stress-strain state of the “soil foundation - structure” system during construction, operation and reconstruction. Plaxis software provides state-of-the-art theory-based nonlinear analysis methods with an easy-to-use interface for design engineers. The PLAXIS 2D program is intended for calculating the stress-strain state of complex geotechnical systems using the finite element method under conditions of a plane and axisymmetric problem.
