003 The Femap system is an independent, full-featured environment for modeling, simulating and evaluating product performance analysis results. Geometry creation: Boolean operations and extrusion/rotation operations; construction of median surfaces; projection of curves onto surfaces; constructing curves at the intersections of surfaces; creating regions when projecting curves onto a solid model; creating curves in polar coordinates on surfaces; creation of solid shells of constant thickness; creation of ruled surfaces, surfaces of revolution, extrusion and broaching along a trajectory; stitching surfaces into solid models; construction of points, segments, arcs, circles and splines; truncation, trimming, extruding, merging and copying geometry elements, constructing fillets and equidistants. Import or export: points and curves in DXF IGES formats, st files.
