Utimaco SafeGuard Easy Retail

An incredibly useful (especially for our brother!) utility designed to encrypt information on hard drives and other PC storage devices has been updated. SafeGuard Easy provides reliable protection of computers from unauthorized access, effectively preventing attackers from trying to access data on the hard drive (the program also works with removable devices: floppy, ZIP/JAZ, external hard drives, various memory cards) or using lost devices. This is achieved by encrypting the entire contents of the hard drive and strict user authentication before loading the operating system. Algorithms used: AES (256 and 128 bit), Rijndael (256 bit), IDEA (128 bit), DES (56 bit), 3DES (168 bit), Blowfish-8/16 (256 bit), Stealth-40 (40 bit). The SafeGuard Easy system is managed using protection policies, which guarantees quick implementation.
